An embassy car was seen parked on a single yellow zigzag line in Holland Village on Monday morning.

An Stomp reader who saw the incident told the citizen journalism website that traffic was held up for at least 10 minutes as there was also a garbage truck on the other lane collecting rubbish.

He added that drivers were honking at the illegally parked car.

Respect is a two-way street

Just last week, a video showing a spat between a driver of a diplomatic vehicle and a traffic warden, also in Holland Village, went viral online.

The Caucasian man, who is believed to be from the Dutch embassy here, was allegedly told to move his car that was parked on a single yellow zigzag line.
