58 SBS Transit bus services affected due to F1 Singapore Grand Prix

With the Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix taking place from Sep 19 to 21, SBS Transit on Wednesday (Sep 3) said a total of 58 of its bus services will have their routes revised as a result of road closures for the upcoming race.

From Sep 14 to 22, routes for 27 bus services will be diverted, and they will skip bus stops "particularly in the Marina Centre area", said SBST. The affected SBST bus services are:

In addition, SBST said 25 Premium Bus Services will skip selected bus stops along Cecil Street, Fullerton Road and Robinson Road from Sep 17 to 22. The bus stops are Fullerton Square (03011), Opposite AIA Tower (03031), and Prudential Tower (03021). The affected bus services will terminate at the bus stop opposite the PWC Building (03041) along Cross Street, SBST added.

Another six Nite Owl Services will also skip bus stops along Raffles Avenue on Sep 19 and 20, from 12 to 2am, said the transport company. Instead, 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N, and 6N will start their bus routes from the bus stop in front of St. Andrew's Cathedral (04167) along North Bridge Road.

Due to arrangements for the F1 race, SBST said routes for two bus services will be temporarily revised. Service 195 will operate from the New Bridge Road Terminal instead of the previous Marina Centre Terminal.

As a result, it will temporarily call at 10 stops along Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road, and skip seven bus stops on its regular route along North Boat Quay, North Bridge Road, Parliament Place, Raffles Avenue, and Raffles Boulevard.

The transport company added that Service 97E will terminate at the Marina Bay Financial Centre bus stop (03391) along Marina Boulevard instead of the bus stop in front of Pan Pacific Hotel (02089) along Raffles Boulevard from 6.30 to 8.30am.

The service will also start after Marina Station Road (03539) along Central Boulevard instead of the bus stop before Temasek Avenue (02101) along Raffles Avenue from 5 to 7pm. It will skip eight bus stops along Raffles Avenue, Temasek Boulevard, Temasek Avenue and Bayfront Avenue.

As a result of the bus routes revision, SBST said information for the 58 affected bus services will unavailable on its mobile app iris NextBus and website during this period.
