Arsenal have signed both Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy
Both Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy will soon be lining up at Arsenal.

Barcelona and Chile striker Sanchez is widely expected to complete his move to the Emirates Stadium in the next 24 hours, after flying into London for his medical.

Newcastle and France full-back Debuchy has emerged as Arsenal's chief target as they seek a replacement for Bacary Sagna, who has joined Manchester City.

The 28-year-old looks set to arrive in North London for a fee in the region of £12million.

Arsene Wenger hails Alexis Sanchez after signing Chilean star
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hailed the club's new signing Alexis Sanchez as a "fantastic footballer" and declared himself "delighted" to have signed the Chilean star.

The 25-year-old forward, who bagged 21 goals for Barcelona last season, has arrived at the Emirates Stadium on a long-term deal, for a figure believed to be in the region of £32million.

"As many people have seen during the World Cup this summer, Alexis is a fantastic footballer and we are delighted that he is joining us at Arsenal Football Club," said Wenger, speaking to the club's official website.

“Alexis will add power, creativity and much quality to our squad and we are all looking forward to him joining up with us in a few weeks."

Manchester City handed July 21 deadline for Roma defender Mehdi Benatia
Roma have given Manchester City until July 21 to sign Mehdi Benatia.

The Italian side are growing increasingly frustrated by City's drawn-out pursuit of Benatia and they have agreed a £30million deal in principle with the Premier League champions.

The Blues have left Benatia on the backburner while they wait for No 1 defensive target Eliaquim Mangala to decide if he wants to move to the Etihad.

City have agreed the outline of a £32million deal with Porto for the French World Cup centre-half and he promised them a decision after he returned from Brazil.

Ricardo Rodriguez a target for Man Utd left-back role
According to Wolfsburger Allgemeinen in Germany, VFL Wolfsburg have received an offer from United for Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez.

The highly-rated defender starred for the Swiss at the World Cup, and has proven himself one of the Bundesliga's best young talents in recent years

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has previously promised that the Wolves won't be selling any of their World Cup stars, but the Red Devils are looking to test the German club's resolve.

Manchester United given boost in their pursuit of Arturo Vidal
Manchester United have been boosted in their pursuit of Arturo Vidal because Juventus need to sell one of their star players.

President Andrea Agnelli’s watchword is self-financing, and Juve must cash in on either Vidal or Paul Pogba to balance their books.

Ironically, United received just £800,000 in compensation when France star Pogba left them for Juve. The Italians are now demanding £60million for the player.

United are considering a £30m offer for Chile World Cup midfielder Vidal, which the Italian champions would find hard to refuse.

Patrice Evra asks to leave Manchester United
Patrice Evra is leaving Manchester United after eight years.

The United left-back has asked to leave Old Trafford and has had his wish granted by the club's hierarchy.

United took up an option to extend Evra's contract by 12 months when it expired at the end of last season.

But the 33-year-old wanted a fresh start elsewhere and is poised to join Italian side Juventus on a two-year deal.

Manchester United can sign Wesley Sneijder for £16million
Galatasaray have told Manchester United they can have Wesley Sneijder for £16million.

Sneijder, 30, was a long-standing target for United towards the end of Sir Alex Ferguson's reign before he joined Galatasaray from Inter Milan.

The midfielder has fuelled speculation he could be moving to Old Trafford by claiming he would find it hard to resist an offer from his Holland boss Louis van Gaal to play under him at United.

Gala president Unal Aysal claims he would not stand in Sneijder's way if United pay his release fee of £16million.

"Sneijder is a good player," he said. "We want to keep him at Galatasaray... if any club pays us €20million and he wants to go, we can't force him to stay because it is written in the contract."

Dutch defender Daryl Janmaat emerges as potential Man Utd target
According to the Daily Mail, United have made an enquiry to Feyenoord over full-back Daryl Janmaat.

The 24-year-old has only one year remaining on his contract at De Kuip, and is expected to leave this summer.

He has attracted interest from the likes of Napoli and Tottenham, but his national team boss could now look to sign him for his new club.

Janmaat has started in all of the Netherlands' World Cup games so far this summer, with the Oranje having successfully claimed wins in all three matches.

Mario Pasalic arrives as Blues snap up highly-rated Croatian teenager
Chelsea have signed highly-rated Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic.

The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge moving from Hajduk Split.

Pasalic, who has only one full senior season under his belt, impressed last term netting 11 times in 36 appearances.

"I am very happy because I am now a Chelsea player," he told the club's official website.

Reds eye Wilfried Bony and Ben Davies in double Swansea swoop
Liverpool are readying a double swoop on Swansea this summer.

The Daily Mail report that the Reds are keen on doing a deal for BOTH Wilfried Bony and Ben Davies .

The Swans are prepared for both to leave the club this offseason with Spurs strongly linked with both.

But now Brendan Rodgers is ready to make his interest known with a joint bid.

Spurs apparently offered Gylfi Sigurdsson for Davies and keeper Michel Vorm but it was dismissed out of hand.

The Ivorian striker is valued at around £20million while Welsh left-back is a more modest £8m.

Suarez leaving Anfield for Barcelona in a £75million deal
Dutch club Ajax are set to land a windfall thanks to bite shame former striker Luis Suarez.

The Liverpool forward, signed from the Dutch club in 2011 - coincidentally just two months after biting an opponent in an Eredivisie match - is leaving Anfield for Barcelona in a £75million deal.

The 27-year-old cost the Reds £22million when arriving from Amsterdam, having scored 111 goals in 159 games for the Netherlands most successful club.

But the four-time European Cup winners ensured that they installed a clause in the deal which would see them entitled to 6.5 percent of any future fee.

As such, Suarez's move to Camp Nou is set to net the Amsterdammers a figure in the region of £4.3million.
