Microsoft offers US$650 to trade Macbook for their Surface Pro

Microsoft really wants consumers to grab their Surface Pro 3 tablet.

The company is offering Macbook Air owners up to US$650 to trade in their Apple laptop in favor of the Pro, according to an offer on the Microsoft Store website.

The deal is available only to consumers who purchase the device at a Microsoft store in the U.S. or Canada. The offer is valid until July 31.

Microsoft unveiled the lean, 12-inch tablet during an event last month in New York. Prices for the tablet, which features a cover that doubles as a keyboard, start at US$799.
