Liverpool insist they want to keep hold of their controversial player, but Spanish giants Barcelona are increasingly confident of getting their man.

Barca boss Luis Enrique insisted the latest biting incident has not put him off signing the player.

Liverpool WILL accept Luis Suarez transfer for £80m
Liverpool will sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona for £80million - and buy Benfica's Lazar Markovic with the windfall.

The Reds, who are already speaking to the Catalan giants about acquiring Chile World Cup star Alexis Sanchez, could also do a part exchange deal if Barcelona pays up £50m.

Alexandre Lacazette (with the ball)
Reds monitor Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette
Should Luis Suarez leave Anfield this summer, Liverpool could turn their attentions to Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a stunning season last time out, scoring 22 times for the Ligue 1 side, and has alerted the interest of both the Reds and Newcastle.

And according to the Chronicle, the Magpies' bid could hit trouble if Suarez departs.

Lyon want £10million for Lacazette and would be a welcome addition for the Kop faithful, who may lose their star man.

Liverpool closing in on Belgian starlet Divock Origi
Liverpool are on the brink of signing teen World Cup sensation Divock Origi.

The 19-year-old has made a splash on the biggest stage with Belgium in Brazil, and the Reds consider the Lille forward one of the most talented young players in Europe.

The Anfield transfer committee has sanctioned a structured £9.8million deal for the striker, with a loan-back agreement ensuring he remains at Lille next season where he can still play Champions League football.

The son of former Kenya international Mike Origi, Divock was born in Belgium and represented the nation of his birth at every youth level before being fast-tracked into the World Cup squad.

Luke Shaw (right)
Manchester United's Luke Shaw transfer set to be confirmed
Luke Shaw will complete his move from Southampton to Manchester United in the next 48 hours - for a record £33million.

The two clubs have agreed the monster fee, which will see England left-back Shaw, who is not 19 until next month, become world football’s most expensive teenager.

Shaw himself has netted a deal worth more than £100,000-a-week by joining new manager Louis van Gaal’s revolution at the Old Trafford giants.

United, who are also signing Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera, have been chasing whiz-kid Shaw since before David Moyes was sacked as manager in April and finally got their man despite stubborn resistance.

Southampton to carry on with their amazing summer sale, set to rake in £100 million
Southampton are ready to carry on their amazing summer sale, which is set to rake in £100 million.

They clinched a £33m deal on Friday as Luke Shaw joined Manchester United, becoming world football's most expensive teenager.

Adam Lallana is set to continue the exodus from St Mary's, as he is expected to complete his £25m move to Liverpool on Monday.

Liverpool have already signed England striker Rickie Lambert from the Saints for £3m, and are still keen on £16m-rated Croatian centre-back Dejan Lovren - although they face competition from Arsenal and Tottenham on that one.

French World Cup star Morgan Schneiderlin also hinted on Friday that he could be next to leave Southampton, with the two north London sides both keen on the £20m-rated midfielder.

Tottenham launch transfer raid for Swansea and Wales left-back Ben Davies
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to make Swansea left-back Ben Davies his first signing in a shock £8million deal.

Spurs have approached the Welsh club with an offer for the 21-year-old Wales international, who rose through the ranks at the Liberty Stadium to become a star.

Pochettino’s move is something of a surprise as he has inherited Danny Rose in that position.

Hull transfer spree continues with Michael Dawson and Tom Ince next
Hull aim to continue their summer splurge by targeting Michael Dawson and Tom Ince as they tie up an £8million Robert Snodgrass move.

The Scotland winger has been offered a three-year deal at the KC Stadium.

Boss Steve Bruce believes he can land Dawson, 30, for £4m as he is in the last year of his deal at the White Hart Lane club.

He remains interested in Ince, who has said he would like to stay in the Premier League - where he was on loan at Crystal Palace from Blackpool last season - after turning down Inter Milan.

Bafetimbi Gomis (left)
Swansea complete Bafetimbi Gomis signing
Swansea have confirmed the signing of French international striker Bafetimbi Gomis on a four-year deal.

The 28-year-old arrives at the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Ligue 1 side Lyon.

Gomis had been earmarked by both Newcastle and newly-promoted QPR as a potential arrival, but the Swans have blown both of those sides away with an £80,000-a-week contract - the biggest in the Welsh club's history.

Emanuel Insua (right)
West Ham close to prying Emanuel Insua from Boca Juniors
West Ham United are in talks to sign Boca Juniors defender Emanuel Insua on a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old left-back has agreed personal terms with the Hammers, and provided the two clubs can reach a final agreement on the fee and a payment schedule, the East Londoners could confirm the deal within the next few days.

Insua, the younger brother of Liverpool flop Emiliano, would become the second Argentine signed by the Irons' boss Sam Allardyce this summer after the arrival of Velez Sarsfield forward Mauro Zarate.

Arsenal plan Mathieu Debuchy transfer from Newcastle
Arsene Wenger is targeting Newcastle's Mathieu Debuchy in an £8million move.

Wenger sees the France World Cup right-back as the perfect replacement for Bacary Sagna, who has quit Arsenal after seven years to join Manchester City.

And the Gunners' boss has also renewed his interest in QPR striker Loic Remy as the FA Cup holders look to strengthen their French connection.

Debuchy, 28, has already voiced his determination to play in the Champions League, and that has alerted Arsenal.

Manchester City plan transfer for Jack Rodwell
Jack Rodwell can leave Manchester City following Fernando’s £12million arrival, with Everton and West Brom leading the race for him.

City confirmed Fernando’s capture from Porto on Thursday and will now look to offload fellow midfielder Rodwell, who has managed just seven league starts since his £12million move from Everton two years ago.

Rodwell, 23, does not feature prominently in Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team plans and Fernando’s signing will push him even further down the midfield pecking order.
