Scoot flight TZ 001 from Sydney to Singapore was diverted to Bali on Wednesday after two separate incidents unfolded.
A husband-and-wife spat resulted in the woman having a fractured arm, while in another incident, a passenger who was abusive to staff was also told to get off the plane in Bali.
12-year-old Beau and his mother, Mrs D, were passengers on board flight TZ 001 on May 14 and they had a front-seat view of the unfolding drama.
The Australian said they were sitting near the emergency exit door and about an-hour-and-a-half into the flight, a man came into the cabin "filled with rage". The man attempted to open the emergency exit door, then went on to the toilet door and started hitting it very hard.
Beau and his mother left their seats to alert the flight attendants and the man was restrained and brought to the back of the plane.
Mrs D said the crew's response was amazing, if not "immaculate".
"They made sure they were not inconveniencing or making anybody on the aircraft be in any more trouble. Scoot should actually be proud of the training they have been giving them, because they could not have done any better," she said.
Scoot CEO Mr Wilson said other passengers chipped in as well.
Clearly, it's unfortunate the passengers were inconvenienced a few hours, but everything was done with safety, and medical well-being of people in mind."
The man was later escorted out of the aircraft in Bali with a drip, along with his wife, whose arm was in a sling.
However, the drama did not end there. Beau said while waiting for their luggage to be removed, another man who was seemingly drunk, started yelling profanities at flight attendants.
He too was escorted off the plane as he was deemed a threat to other passengers on board.
