A driver was arrested shortly after 11:00 p.m. Friday night after causing a chain reaction crash that sent one Seattle Police officer and another driver to the hospital.
Investigators say a driver didn't stop their car in time, and rear-ended an officer who then hit the car in front of him.
The three-car wreck took place at a red light at the end of the off-ramp that links northbound 15th Ave W to W Dravus Street in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, near Ballard.
A Drug Recognition Officer responded and processed the driver of the at-fault vehicle for DUI, according to police reports.
Both the police officer and driver of the third car sustained minor injuries and were later released.
