Premiums for certificates of entitlement, or COE, climbed across the board yesterday, in the second tender for this month as well as the re-classified passenger car categories.
But it seems that the effect of re-categorising passenger cars has yet to be felt.
Cat A (cars below 1,600 cc and 130 hp) - jumped $5,637 to $77,201
Cat B (cars above 1,600 cc or 130 hp) - rose $3,304 to $78,604
Cat E (open category which currently tracks Cat B) - increased $1,997 to $79,000
Cat C (goods vehicles) - was $1,888 higher at $52,890
Cat D (for motorcycles) - rose $450 to $3,501
