Three more Indian nationals, charged last week for their involvement in the Little India riot, were yesterday remanded for a further week in police custody to help with investigations.
The three - Karuppaiah Chandrasekar, 31, Palanivel Dhasmohan, 27, and 24-year old Arumugam Karthik - are among the 28 accused to be prosecuted for their roles in the Dec 8 incident.
Among the trio that appeared in the docks yesterday, Chandrasekar and Dhasmohan were accused of throwing pieces of concrete at police officers during the incident.
Karthik, on the other hand, was among a group of at least five alleged to have overturned a police car and set it on fire.
