US consumer goods firm Proctor & Gamble has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
The Master Research Collaboration Agreement will provide the potential for up to S$60 million in joint funding.
In a statement, A*STAR said the collaboration will pair P&G with more than 25 research institutes, hospitals and universities in Singapore.
This will be one of P&G's largest public-sector research collaborations.
The agreement will cover a broader range of activities, which include allowing P&G access to research services and facilities at Singapore's research hubs - Biopolis and Fusionopolis.
There is also a new component for joint partnership in talent development that offers industry-relevant PhD programmes and post-doctoral fellowships.
