There are 24 players in the team -- seven of them have been drafted in from S.League clubs.
"A number of these players participated in international friendly matches and tournaments and now at the SEA Games, and they will certainly add a lot of invaluable experience and resilience to the squad," Fandi said.
"The young players will be able to learn from their seniors, which is essential to their long-term development that will eventually benefit the squad in our challenge for top honours," he added.
The team will kick off the new campaign with a charity shield match against Pahang on January 17, 2014. The full fixtures for the new MSL season will be announced at a later date.
