12 top entrepreneurs selected for Entrepreneur of the Year Award

12 selected local entrepreneurs will be recognised at the Entrepreneur of the Year Award this year for their outstanding performance as business owners.

The award, which is into its 25th year, is jointly organised by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME) and the Rotary Club of Singapore.

Three individuals from the digital marketing, apparel distribution and interior design industries won awards in the Young Entrepreneur Award category.

Meanwhile, nine individuals -- selected for the Established Entrepreneur Award Category -- come from various industries like construction, paper recycling, and food & beverage.

Of the nine awards handed out, local catering firm Rasel Catering Singapore saw two members of its management team -- managing director Alan Tan and creative director Chris Loh -- win the awards.

The overall winner, along with sub-category award winners, will be announced during an award presentation ceremony on December 4.
