Optimus Prime in Transformers 3 |
Michael Bay has released pictures of the new, updated Optimus Prime, the leading big rig in the "Transformers" series, as the vehicle will appear in truck form in the upcoming "Transformers 4."
The new machine looks sleeker and more upscale than before, a vehicle any trucker would be proud to take out on the highway.

Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse |
In the past Optimus looked pretty cool — but not that different than the trucks you see on the highway. This time out he's a bit less about function and more about style, which might suggest the character's personality could be getting a makeover in "Transformers 4" as well.

C7 Corvette Stingray |
One is a blue and black Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, a very collectable sports model that's one of the fastest production cars on earth, having cracked 408 miles per hours on a test track with racer Anthony Liu behind the wheel in April 2013.
Also on set is a C7 Corvette Stingray, a racing version of the upcoming 2014 edition of the iconic coupe, looking very cool in a bright green paint job.
So far, Bay and Paramount are keeping a lid on what we can expect in "Transformers 4," beyond announcing that Mark Wahlberg will be playing the lead (and a dad) instead of Shia LeBeouf, and Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer will be joining the supporting cast.
But they're not afraid to let car buffs know they're going to see some high-grade eye candy tearing up the roadways when the movie hits theaters in June 2014, even before they transform themselves into heroic robots.
