Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates will be cut by S$1 or 50 cents during certain hours of the day at 12 gantries for next month’s school holidays.

They include one on the south-bound Central Expressway before Braddell Road, two along the Pan-Island Expressway at Adam Road and Mount Pleasant Road, and two along Dunearn Road.

The revised rates will apply between June 1-29, before reverting to pre-school holiday charges from July 1.

The rates for the other gantries will remain unchanged.

Also, drivers of foreign-registered cars and motorcycles do not have to pay any Vehicle Entry Permit fees for the day if they drive into Singapore after noon and leave by 2am the following day on weekdays during this period, the LTA said.

This is part of ongoing initiatives to attract foreign visitors to Singapore, especially during the school holidays here, it added.
