An accident at a work site near a runway at Changi Airport on Saturday has left one worker dead and two hurt.
According to Chinese daily Lianhe Wanbao, three workers were cutting a drill pipe, when a wrench accidently flew off and hit a worker. He fell on the grass and was unconcious.
The other workers beside the first worker were also hit and fell to the ground.
All three injured workers were sent to Changi General Hospital, where one of the workers died from severe injuries. The other two workers had minor injuries, and one has been discharged, according to The Straits Times.
