Three still missing after shipyard fire in Jurong

Search and Rescue operations are still on—going, for three people who went missing after a fire broke out at a shipyard in Jurong on Tuesday.

The Maritime Port and Authority of Singapore said three craft, including one belonging to the Police Coast Guard, are carrying out surface search.

It is believed the fire started on a tug boat and spread to three adjacent tug boats at Tanoto Shipyard at Jalan Samulun.

Four crew members were sent to hospital. Most of them suffered burns.

The Ministry of Manpower is investigating the incident.
