Woman suspect arrested for murder in Geylang

Police have arrested a 28-year-old woman suspect in connection with a murder in Geylang on Tuesday night.

Police said they were informed of the incident at 7.40pm.

The murder occurred on the fourth floor of an apartment block at 11 Lorong 9 Geylang.

The victim was pronounced dead at 8.39pm.

Channel NewsAsia understands that the suspect is believed to be the victim's roommate.

Police said investigations are ongoing.
