Man arrested for Sengkang outrage of modesty

The police have arrested a 38-year-old man for a case of outrage of modesty.

On Jan 31, a woman reported to the police that she was hugged inappropriately by the 38-year-old suspect, whom she did not know.

They were taking the lift together at a block in Rivervale Crescent. Following the report, officers identified and arrested the suspect about three hours after the report was made.

The suspect will be charged in court for outrage of modesty, which carries an imprisonment term of not less than three years and not more than ten years and with caning.
