President Tony Tan Keng Yam will be overseas on a private visit from Jan 28 to 30, 2013, said a statement from the Istana office on Sunday.

Mr J Y Pillay, Chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisers, will exercise the functions of the Office during that time.
