Anyone seen my goat!?

A walk to find his missing goat on top of the Batu Caves hill almost cost a goat herder his life last Friday. The man, in his 40s, had fallen off the cliff, but was saved from plunging from a height of about seven stories when his feet became entangled among jutting tree roots.

He was left dangling head-first for 12 hours until he was spotted by a worshipper at the Sri Subramaniar Temple at 8am yesterday.

The Selayang Fire and Rescue Department team took about an hour to rescue him.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul said the man was dehydrated, but did not suffer any injuries, adding that he was sent to the nearest hospital for treatment.
