Certis Cisco officer found dead in Supreme Court toilet

An auxillary police officer was found dead today in a basement toilet at the Supreme Court.

The Certis Cisco officer, Ms Lim Kooi Khim, 20, had a gunshot wound to her head and her service revolver was found beside her, the police said.

Ms Lim, a Malaysian, is understood to be on duty at the court.

A joint statement issued by Certis Cisco Security and the Supreme Court said the incident occurred at about 1.15pm. The officer was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 1.35pm.

“We are deeply saddened by this episode”, the statement added. “Certis Cisco and the Supreme Court will extend our fullest support to the family members... and provide any assistance they may require.”

Ms Lim was enlisted with Certis Cisco in June last year and had been deployed to the Supreme Court since late Oct last year.

Her colleagues who were on duty at the court declined to speak to reporters. No foul play is suspected and police Investigations are ongoing.
