New York Police Department busted 'True Bosses Only a.k.a. Team Bang Out' (TBO) gang with the help of social media.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Kings County District Attorney Hynes announced that with the help of social media this week they took down 41 members of a gang in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Officers involved in the operation created fake profiles on Facebook and twitter and "friended" members of the TBO gang then tracked their actions on the social networking sites. According to the DA, gang members often show off on social media about committing crimes.
