A man believed to be committing acts of obscenity in Tampines has been caught.
Between Sept and Nov 2012, the police received reports of a man exposing himself to female victims around the neighbourhood.
They analysed the crime patterns and mounted ambushes at various locations in bid to apprehend the suspect.
Yesterday, police spotted a suspect along Tampines Street 21 and placed him under arrest during an ambush operation.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the 27-year-old man is believed to be involved in at least three of the alleged cases.
He will be charged in court on Thursday and could face a jail term of up to three months or be fined for the accused acts of obscenity if found guilty.
