The days of carting boxes of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts back to Singapore from overseas will soon be over.

15 Krispy Kreme locations will be opened in Singapore over the next five years.

Krispy Kreme, which has about 700 total locations selling doughnuts in 21 countries, had struggled in recent years.

But it has seen a sales resurgence in recent quarters as the addition of coffee and other beverages helped to boost the number of customer visits.
