Guitar instructor Goh Giin Huat, 38, takes to the courts for tennis training and goes for a jog around the scenic Botanic Gardens almost every Saturday morning.

Armed with good-humoured candour - he introduces himself by the moniker "Steady", which he adopted in jest five years ago as his surname sounds like "go" - Mr Goh is also an avid Nintendo Wii player in his spare time.

He is like any able-bodied man, except in one regard: He was born fully blind.

Now, he is one of 12 members of the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped who dedicate their Saturday mornings to modified versions of sports that able-bodied people play.
