Jetstar today unveiled a new uniform for its cabin crew and ground staff, doing away with the three attires it used to have and focusing on one look.

Sticking to the colours of black and orange, the new uniform is to be worn across all Jetstar branded airlines operating in the region, including Australia/New Zealand, Vietnam, Singapore and Japan.

The revamp of its appearance is believed to be driven by the budget airline's need to solidify its brand identity in the Asia Pacific region, as well as to "support the brand’s next phase of growth,' said Jetstar in a media statement.

The uniforms are made from a high-tech fabric to ensure that it is comfortable for the active daily duties of cabin crew and airport staff.
