Starhub vice-president drowns in freak accident in Phuket

Starhub's vice-president Peter Cook, 47, drowned in a popular Phuket beach on Tuesday morning while on holiday there with his family.

He was walking with his 12-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son near the shore, and playing with sand, when a wave swept them into the sea.

The children survived.

It was drizzling at the time, and his wife, who was carrying their six-month-old son, was looking for shelter
