Man jailed 3 months for filming stepdaughter showering

A technician hid his cell phone in a recording mode under the sink to film his 11-year-old stepdaughter showering in October 2010. He then downloaded the clip onto a thumbdrive.

Four months later, the girl's mother chanced on the thumbdrive. Shocked by its contents, she consulted a counsellor who advised her to go to the police.

On Thursday, the 34-year-old man was jailed for three months for intruding into the privacy of his stepdaughter while she was taking a shower.

The court ordered her identity not be revealed.
