StarHub TV customers will be able to watch their favourite shows on-the-go with the launch of its new service TV Anywhere.
Currently still in the "beta phase", the service will give viewers access to cable channels across Internet-enabled PCs, Macs, iPads or tablets with their current subscription plans. It will be hosted on the internet platform starhubtv.com
The service carries 12 channels and a store with up to 600 hours of video. Selected local content such as LionsXII and S.League matches will be available for free.
In addition, UEFA EURO 2012™ Pack subscribers can catch live tournament coverage online and watch past matches through the Catch-Up service.
Current subscribers have to opt-in to use TV Anywhere. The service is available free of charge until 31 October 2012. From 1 November 2012, it will be available at a monthly subscription of $5.35, inclusive of GST.
Users can log on to www.starhubtv.com to sign up for TV Anywhere. On the website, they need to register for a Hub ID and link it to their existing StarHub TV account to access the content online.
