A man was found dead at the Hard Rock Hotel Singapore on Wednesday.
The body was found in the afternoon by hotel staff when they went to the room to look for the man after he did not check out.
The man had reportedly been dead for several hours.
According to the Chinese daily Lianhe Wanbao, a note and two used cups were found near him.
The Straits Times said the man, believed to be a 39-year-old Singaporean, had checked into the hotel alone on Sunday.
The case has been classified as an unnatural death.
Police investigations are ongoing, and the hotel is assisting the police.
