Newly-crowned English champions Manchester City have been paired with the Singapore Under-15s and Boca Juniors at this year's Canon Lion City U-15 football tournament.
The draw for the youth competition was held this morning at the Jalan Besar Stadium. The Cup, which thrilled near-capacity crowds at Jalan Besar Stadium last year, returns for its 24th edition from June 23 to July 1.
The Republic's U-15 outfit, coached by former national player Nazri Nasir, will play their opening Group B match against South American giants Boca on June 23 at Jalan Besar.
In Group A, Singapore's U-16 team will face FC Porto from Portugal and Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam, which boasts one of Europe's premier football academies.
