Class 95 Deejay 'Flying Dutchman' recovering from heart attack

Class 95FM deejay and emcee-host Mark van Cuylenburg, affectionately known as “The Flying Dutchman,” is recovering from a heart attack he suffered on Sunday morning.

The 56-year-old has since undergone surgery for a heart stent to be insert, reported TODAY newspaper. His agent confirms that the father of four was sent to the National University Hospital.

One-third of Class 95FM’s popular Morning Express talkshow, van Cuylenburg has also appeared on multiple television shows and is best remembered for hosting Singapore’s edition of game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”.

A spokesperson from Class 95FM MediaCorp said, "He is recuperating well in hospital. The family requests privacy and thanks the public for their support and well-wishes."

News of van Cuylenburg's condition has spread on Twitter and Facebook and fans and friends are all wishing him a speedy recovery.
