Villas-Boas' forgettable stint at Chelsea seemed to do his reputation no harm, with the young manager being linked to several jobs recently.
Barcelona were rumoured to line him up as a replacement for the departing Pep Guardiola while Roma were also reported to be interested in hiring the Portuguese as a replacement for Luis Enrique.
Valencia have also been linked with a move for the 34-year-old, but their press officer, Riccardo Lazzari, has admitted Villas-Boas is unlikely to be joining the Spanish outfit as he has already agreed to a deal.
"The only certainty is that someone preceded Valencia."
