Budget carrier Firefly said on Wednesday its passengers will have to pay more when they fly out of Changi Airport Terminal 2 (T2), due to the closure of Budget Terminal.
The carrier will operate out of Terminal 2 from 25 September.
Firefly said the relocation to T2 will enable passengers to enjoy greater connectivity to other airlines as T2 is linked to Terminal 1 and 3 by travelators and skytrains.
Customers who buy tickets from 9 March to fly out of Singapore from 25 September will pay total passenger charges of S$28 - for Passenger Service Charge, Passenger Security Service Charge and Aviation Levy.
These charges are levied by airport and government authorities.
Those who buy tickets before 9 March for flights out of Singapore from 25 September do not have to pay the additional charges.
Firefly check-in counters at Terminal 2 will close 45 minutes before scheduled flight departure, instead of 30 minutes due to operational requirements.
