Whitney Houston: What we know, what questions remain

Whitney Houston was found underwater, unconscious: police
Pop star Whitney Houston was "underwater and apparently unconscious" when she was discovered in a Beverly Hills hotel room bathtub, police said on Monday.

"We are not conducting a homicide investigation at this time. We do not know the cause of death, we do not know the circumstances leading up to her death," Beverly Hills Police spokesman Lieutenant Mark Rosen said.

Whitney Houston: What we know
Singer Kelly Price told CNN on Monday that she performed an impromptu duet with Whitney Houston at a party two days before Houston's death.

"She did not seem disheveled. She was dancing, she was laughing. ... We were having a good time," said Price said of the party two days before the Grammys. "What I saw on Thursday night was not erratic behavior. I didn't see someone who was high."

Whitney Houston's Funeral To Be Later This Week
According to police reports, there was no indication of foul play and no obvious signs of trauma on Houston's body, but investigators are not ruling out any causes of death until the toxicology results are obtained, which may take up to six weeks.

Members of Houston's family say the singer's body will be taken to a funeral home in New Jersey later today and services will be held at the end of the week. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, family members say they are considering holding a wake Thursday and the funeral Friday at Newark's Prudential Center -- an arena that seats about 18,000.
