More refund options for commuters next month: LTA

By next month, public transport commuters seeking fare refunds will be able to do so at any purple Add Value Machine (AVM) and TransitLink ticket office islandwide, with the money credited directly to their fare cards.

The card presented for refunds must be the same card used in the earlier transaction.

Refunds can also be credited to a commuter's bank account in any GIRO-participating bank - instead of only DBS and POSB presently - by next month, TransitLink announced yesterday.
