LionsXII vs Negeri Sembilan: Kayu Casmir gets axe

LionsXII coach V Sundramoorthy is staying true to his words at the start of the season.

“If players don’t perform, they will be dropped,” he said during pre-season.

In the case of striker Agu Casmir, zero goals in five appearances means he will start tonight’s clash against Malaysia Cup champions Negeri Sembilan from the bench.

In his place, Sundram will reward Sufian Anuar with a starting role alongside supporting striker Shahril Ishak.

Said Sundram: “Sufian can give us more aggression up front, especially with his high work rate. He has been looking sharp in training, along with the rest of the team.”
