2 women found dead at Changi chalet

The bodies of two young women, Teo Wan Si, 20, and Chua Hui Hsien, 24, were found dead at Aloha Resorts in Changi at about 1.30am Thursday morning.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene, pronounced the pair dead at 2am.

It is believed that the two women, who are said to be close friends, had been dead for a significant amount of time before they were discovered after a five-hour hunt.

Police told the Chinese evening daily that the single-storey bungalow chalet was locked from the inside when they arrived. Two black plastic containers containing burnt ash was found in the bathroom and the window was shut.

Ms Chua had booked the chalet on Wednesday and it is likely that the two women had plans on committing suicide.

No foul play is suspected and the police have classified the case as unnatural death.
