Spurs to battle Barca for El Kaddouri

Tottenham Hotspur are set to join in the battle with Barcelona for Belgian midfielder Omar El Kaddouri of Brescia.

The 21-year-old is widely tipped to be the next big thing in Italian football, having impressed for the Serie B side.

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola looks to snap him up before other top clubs get alerted but Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is ready to join in the race for El Kaddouri's signature.
