53 per cent of primary schools single-session by this year

Ninety-five out of the 180 primary schools here will be operating single-session by this year, said Education Minister Heng Swee Keat.

This is an increase from the 76 schools that were single- session in 2009. The ministry aims to move the majority of government primary schools to single-session by 2016.
