SMRT extends bus, train services for New Year's eve

SMRT's bus and train services will be extended on New Year's eve to better accommodate to those who will be out celebrating the new year.

Departure times for the last trains on the East-West, North-South and Circle Lines have been pushed back. Its NightRider bus services will be available as well.

However, buses along Marina Bay will be diverted due to road closures for the Marina Bay Countdown 2011/2012, from 11.30pm on Dec 31 to 1am on Jan 1.

The following bus services will be diverted temporarily from 31 December 2011, 11.30 pm to 1 January 2012, 1.00 am, due to road closure for : Service 75, 77, 106, 167, 171, 700A, 857, 960, NR1, NR2, NR5, NR6, NR7 and NR8.
