SBS bus driver got lost, wasted passengers' time for 2 hrs

The incident, which took place on Dec 3 afternoon, resulted when when the driver of SBS Transit bus service 52 decided to take a shortcut to avoid a traffic jam.


But a wrong turn left him, along with his passengers, lost for about two hours. The bus service was travelling from Jurong East Interchange towards Bishan.

Over 10 passengers were trapped with the driver on the bus. Some expressed that it was a waste of their time.

Some passengers tried to give the bus captain directions but it was reported that according to the rules, he had to obey the station control for instructions.

ComfortDelGro, the owner of SBS Transit, has since apologised to the passengers and is currently investigating the issue.
