More expensive to drive into Sentosa on New Year's Eve and New Year

Sentosa Island has raised its admission charges for vehicles entering the island between New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Cars and taxis entering between 5pm on Dec 31 and 7am on Jan 1 will pay S$7, instead of the usual S$3.

The car park fee at the Beach & Imbiah Car Park on New Year's Eve has also been raised. It will go up from S$2 to S$5 per entry from 5pm on Dec 31 to 7am on Jan 1.

The operating time for Sentosa Express, the light rail system that connects the island with HarbourFront, will be extended to 2.30am. A shuttle bus service, running between HarbourFront Interchange and the Beach Station, will also be in operation from 7pm on Dec 31 to 7am on New Year's Day. Tickets are priced at S$2 per person.
