Two bundles of heroin were found concealed between two sanitary pads in a Malaysian woman's undergarments at Woodlands Checkpoint.

The woman was stopped at a checkpoint and searched by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers in a joint operation with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
She will be investigated for the offence of importation of a controlled drug. She may face the death penalty if convicted.
The 960g of heroin is worth approximately $144,000 and is part of a total haul of $226,000 worth of drugs seized by the CNB in three separate operations over a two-day period.
