Carjacker Attempts To Steal Car, But Can't Drive Manual

A woman walked out of a Conoco gas station store at 5899 Alkire Street (Colorado) at about 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday night when a man with a gun approached her, aggressively demanding her purse and keys to her 2004 Audi sedan.

However, after starting up the car, the thief apparently did not know how to drive stick (manual gear) and was unable to get the car into gear. So, he jumped out of the car and fled on foot.

Fortunately for the victim, the suspect left her uninjured, however he did get away with her zebra-striped, black and white purse.

The suspect is described as a white male, 22 to 25 years old, nearly 6 feet tall with blue eyes and no facial hair. He was last seen at the scene of the crime wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
