Action-movie actor Steven Seagal has been sworn as a deputy with the Hudspeth County Sheriff's Department, and will begin working along the Mexican border.
Seagal, who has served as a reserve deputy in Louisiana, was sworn in by Sheriff Arvin West on Friday. Seagal, 59, had reached out to the office for employment two months ago.
