Women are born better drivers

We're better drivers and you know it says Tan Mae Lynn.

We women are just more modest (usually) and don't have epic egos to battle with. Self-assured is what you can call us.

Here are just three reasons why we are better behind the wheel:

1. Better temperament

Extensive studies have shown that women are generally more cautious drivers and, hence, statistically less prone to accidents caused by their own recklessness.

2. Peripheral vs tunnel vision

When it comes to peripheral vision, women are better. Men suffer from tunnel vision.

If your line of sight covers more elements, you become aware of potential dangers and opportunities on the road ahead and around you.

3. Sense of direction

Men have an internal compass to find their way around. Women, on the other hand, need landmarks (Google search says so).

Seriously, if you're in unfamiliar territory, how do you tell where's north, south, east and west? But tell me to look out for the golden arches of a fast food joint at a certain cross junction before turning left, and I'd know how to get to my destination.
