She said she was having breakfast with residents at a coffee shop at Block 848, Yishun Street 81 on Sunday when she saw a female beggar in her late 20s with a walking stick singing Chinese songs into a microphone, with a box for passers-by to put money in.
After she alerted the police, she was notified that the beggar was actually a Chinese national on a social visit pass.
