Father, son jailed 21 months each for casino scam

It was a simple scam that reaped $100,000 for a croupier and his two accomplices. Every time Lim Chee Leng, 34, and his father Lim Eng Chin, 57, came to change cash chips into smaller denominations, croupier Kent Oh Zhi Xiang would pass them an extra $100 chip.

They did this 1,000 times within four months at the casino at Resorts World Sentosa.

On Monday, the Lims were jailed a year and nine months each for their involvement in the conspiracy to commit criminal breach of trust.

Oh, 22, who was the mastermind, was jailed two years in July 2011.
