20 lodge reports against pet hotel: M'sia

More than 20 pet owners filed police reports against Petknode Online Pet Store, accusing it of cheating and breach of trust.

This follows the revelation on Sunday that about 300 cats left in a "pet hotel" in two locations over the Hari Raya period were allegedly starved.

Police reported that at least nine died due to lack of water and food.

In Kuala Lumpur, animal lovers and non-governmental organisations submitted a memorandum yesterday, urging the police to investigate and locate a number of cats reported missing at the boarding centre in Damansara Damai.
